Whitton Lions RFC is a community Rugby club based in the shadow of the mighty Twickenham Stadium. This weekend Twickers plays host to Australia v. Argentina in the Rugby Championship. Ahead of the arrival of some of the southern hemisphere's finest, the Lions were put through their paces this Wednesday night.
Ahead of another strong session, coach Dean said shared his excitement at getting the boys together to work on their faltering line out. With assistant Tommy 'switchback' D taking the speedy backline through their paces, some great steps were made. The young talented coaching team sorted out issues from the opening fixtures and came up with new plans to get the Lions back in the hunt.
With a strong coaching set up, a friendly game v. local rivals Twickenham RFC and a league came v. Bank of England coming up there's never been a better time to join our training which takes place on Wednesday evening 2000hrs at Old Latymer Sports ground (TW3 2JD).
